Ballroom Break Dance Studio was formed in 1988 by Frederic Shipley and Deborah Davis. They felt there was a need in the Greater Harrisburg area to provide good quality dance lessons at an affordable price. Most of all to keep it fun, because that's what dancing is all about!

Frederic and Deborah are both certified by AIDA formerly the US Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance as teachers, competing professionals and adjudicators. They each have over 38 years of  teaching experience.

Deborah is listed in Marqui's Who's Who In American Women since 1993 and the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals since 2003.  Deborah is also an adjunct faculty member at Penn State University, Susquehanna University and HACC.
